This gentle therapeutic style of yoga focuses on

restoration of the central nervous system. During

deep relaxation all the systems of the body are

benefitted. It is a wonderful antidote to a stressful,

modern lifestyle.


You will experience:

  • Personalised guidance to help you feel totally comfortable in each pose.

  • Breathing practices, guided meditation and yoga nidra.

  • Afternoon tea.


This workshop is for you, if:

  • You lead a busy life.

  • Would like some ‘time out’!

Experience the benefits of meditation in this 5-week introduction to Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM).

The course addresses ways to best observe how our attitude shapes our experience and how these attitudes can be cultivated and refined in order to better manage life's challenges. It is a practice that enables us to view and understand our lives in another way.

Throughout the course, we will explore the basic techniques of preparation, mindfulness and stillness.  Direct experience will be your best teacher and you will discover that there is simply no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to meditate.


Delight in the experience of 'experience' itself. The course is progressive and allows plenty of time to directly experience and develop your own practice.


Suitable for beginners or as a refresher for those wanting to reignite their practice.

              The Restorative Yoga

     workshop I attended in April this year

     was a deeply relaxing and yes, truly

restorative experience.

In the beautiful facilities of the Silver Leaf

Yoga School, the two and a half hours sped

by. We were gently guided through a

comprehensive range of postures, all supported

by our breathing, and by a range of blankets,

bolsters and guiding hands.

    For me, the workshop achieved a deep

     relaxation and peace which carried

        into my daily life afterwards.
